Can you build muscle with resistance bands?

Resistance bands can be used to build muscle as they put lots of tension on different muscle groups, and not only it can help you grow muscle but it'll work better than machines that work on a very small areas of your muscle.

How do I get that beach body?

You probably saw the #beachbody trend, among men and women. Everyone are after the perfect body, and not some weird no-shoulder physics with huge biceps. The thing is that some machines in the gym might offer higher resistance than most bands (up to 500lb sometimes) but when working on certain fibers of the muscles without activating the entire joints, the results are not what you're looking for.

Why bands are better than the gym (I'm damn serious)?

Hard to believe resistance band can outperform your local gym? Simply google: Gym Body VS Calisthenics Body. Even a CrossFit athlete has a better proportions than those gym junkies that look like Sponge Bob.

The reason is quite simple, it's because when doing something like CrossFit or Calisthenics, you're activating large muscle groups and not small areas.

So which bands should I go with?

Look! I can't promise you to buy bands and in 72 hours or even 72 days you'll have bigger muscles.

In order to grow you need

  1. Calorie surplus (when I bulk, I'm at 400-450 calorie surplus)
  2. Right macros (split between protein, carbs, and fat - I like to grow with 40% carbs, 40% protein, and 20% fat)
  3. No junk food
  4. LOTS of water (like a gallon a day)
  5. At least 6-7 hours of sleep
  6. Constant increase in resistance
  7. The list goes on, but those are the main six to follow

Constant increase in resistance

Ok, let's talk about #6 in the list. If you need to grow, you must ruin those old tiny muscle in order for your body to build bigger ones. I won't get to scientific here, but your body is quite smart. It knows that you're doing an activity that requires bigger muscle and it'll make it happen in order to protect you (if you're doing 8 sets of 10 reps without muscle failure, your body thinks: "ok, his muscles are strong enough to do the task he's doing, no need to grow bigger ones, lets take those extra 500 calories and turn it into good juicy jelly fat").

Muscle failure

Now we're getting into the best part, the muscle growth.

In order for you to grow the muscle, as explained above, you'd need to get into what we call "muscle failure". That's when you're stuck, you can't make another rep, some people even take it to the edge and when they can't make another rep they'll make another half a rep... You see where I'm getting with it, right?

For you to get to that desired muscle failure, all you need is a decent set of resistance bands. That's exactly what TORROBAND is all about.

It's a kit of premium high-end heavy duty resistance bands that can take up to 350lb of resistance!

Trust me on this one, you'll reach muscle failure before you'll even get to use the entire bands (you can add or remove bands - it starts with 40lb and goes up to 80lb).
